As a specialist in circular steel construction, we make circularity concrete and demonstrable. Our steel structures are designed with multiple life cycles in mind and are suitable for dismantling, reuse and adaptation. Through efficient use of steel and slender structures, we limit the environmental impact without compromising on quality, safety or flexibility. In doing so, we help clients to stay ahead of developments such as Paris Proof construction, tightened MPG requirements and future reporting obligations.
Circulairstaal® focuses entirely on circular and sustainable steel solutions. We design steel structures that not only meet current sustainability ambitions, but are also future-proof. We do this by applying circular steel with a low MKI and CO2 emissions, integrating demountable connections and making structures suitable for reuse. In addition, we support projects in realising Paris Proof steel structures, actively contributing to climate objectives.
Our approach starts at the design stage. Through modular dimensioning and demountable detailing, we ensure that steel structures are easy to dismantle and adapt. In material selection, we focus on efficiency, minimal environmental impact and maximum residual value. During production and assembly, we use prefabrication with connectors (dry connections), minimising waste. Finally, we make circularity transparent by substantiating (CO2) performance with MKI scores, LCA certificates and BCI reports. Aligned with current and future legislation.
In practice, circular steel construction demonstrates that sustainability and buildability go hand in hand. Our projects show that it is possible to realise steel structures with a lower environmental impact, without compromising on functionality or economic feasibility. By designing and building in a circular way, the result is not only a sustainable building, but also a structure with future value.
A steel structure from Circulairstaal® makes emission-free construction possible: during transport and assembly, we can choose to maximally reduce CO2 or nitrogen (NOx). This makes this solution extremely suitable for nitrogen-sensitive projects and future-proof construction challenges.
